Viewing your BMS data

Performance > Data Explorer

The Data Explorer page allows users to view and investigate the building's BMS/utility data.

General Layout

This section details the different parts of the page.

1. All the fuel source meters and individual sub-meters are listed. Expand the list to see the full list.
2. The date shows the time range for the data on display and can be changed to view different time resolutions.
3. The data is plotted in the chart section.
4. Check the relevant box to plot the modelled data and/or dry-bulb temperature data.
5. The data displayed on the chart is summed and compared with the previous period and between the actual against the expected data.

Changing displayed meters

1. Click the arrow button to expand.
   
2. Click the desired meter from the list.
   
3. The chart updates with the relevant data from the selected meter.
   

Changing resolution

1. Click the date range.
   
2. Change the resolution to the desired selection.
3. Click the calendar icon to change the start and end dates.
4. Click the Filter button to confirm. Or click Reset to cancel the selection.
   
5. The chart updates with the new dates and time resolution.
   

Zooming in/out

Alternatively, users can also change the date ranges shown in the chart by:

1. Hover over a desired point in time on the chart. Click on the first point.
2. Drag to the second point on the chart. This will become the new start and end dates for the data shown on the chart.

Downloading data

1. Click on the Tools button.
   
2. Click on the Download CSV button.
   
3. The data shown on the chart will be exported into a CSV and downloaded on the user's local computer.
